For years, the most dangerous area has been the loading dock with fast moving forklifts, big trucks, heavy loads and tight time schedules that create a lot of chances for accidents. If the trailer is not properly secured to the dock and a separation occurs for any reason, a major accident could happen.

To prevent a transport vehicle from leaving the dock during the loading/unloading process, a vehicle restrain, also known as a truck restraint or a truck lock, is installed. This piece of equipment is a safety solution. Installing this will help with safety, productivity and security at the loading dock of your warehouse. A vehicle restraint can also help keep your very expensive trailer and cargo at the dock where it belongs.

There are many different kinds of vehicle restraints to choose from, here are just a few that we offer:

·        SVR303 StrongArm

·        TL85 StrongArm

·        ML10 StrongArm

·        RVR303 StrongArm

·        HVR303 StrongArm

SVR303 StrongArm

SVR303 is a low-profile, non-impact design with a rotating arm that seeks a trailer's ICC bar via a patented, switchless technology. Once engaged, it uses 35,000lbs of restraining force to secure the truck to the dock. Dual-acting hydraulic cylinders prevent lock-up and release problems.

The Intelligent Positioning System (IPS) constantly communicates the location of the restraint arm via a network that enables the integrated lights communication system to accurately display safety conditions at the loading dock.

TL85 StrongArm

TL85 hydraulic vehicle restraint keeps dock operations safe and secure during loading and unloading. Trucks and trailers are held firmly in place by a high-visibility barrier-style restraint arm, and a restraining force of 32,000lbs prevents accidental separation from the loading dock during the cargo handling process.

The TL85 may be left engaged overnight to deter trailer theft.

ML10 StrongArm

ML10 is engaged and released by a single detachable control rod. Because no bending or lifting is required, the risk of employee strain or injury is significantly reduced. Passive engagement style results in less wear and tear and lowers maintenance requirements. With a vertical restraining range of 11" to 26" above ground and horizontal reach of 13", the ML10 is compatible with virtually all modern trucks and trailers, even those with air-ride suspension systems. Holds 30,000lbs of restraining force prevents premature truck departure during loading and unloading.

The unit can be left in the locked position overnight to discourage trailer theft.

RVR303 StrongArm

RVR303 has a recessed hook design that combines high levels of safety and performance integrity.

Trucks and trailers are held firmly in place by a high-visibility barrier-style restraint hook, preventing accidental separation from the loading dock during the cargo handling process. After each use, the RVR303 is stored within the dock face and protected with brush sealing to remain clear of the debris zone.

The RVR303 may be left engaged overnight to deter trailer theft.

HVR303 StrongArm

HVR303 electric vehicle restraint secures a trailer to the loading dock via an electromechanical hook design. Easy to install and eco-friendly, the HVR303 combines advanced engineering, positive holding ability, and sophisticated touch controls to make your loading dock safer than ever before.
